Christine Zheng, the Mirken Family Postbaccalaureate Fellow in Museum Practice, visited Bunkhouse Studio and wrote about us for The Lantern, a digital magazine for the Colby Museum.

Lucky Platt and her husband, luthier and wood artist Jim Macdonald, established the Bunkhouse Studio in a camp bunkhouse built by Jim’s grandfather. Bunkhouse Studio represents joint creative ventures and collaborative art by Platt and Macdonald including monotype, drypoint and relief printmaking in small editions, book arts, paper sculpture/mixed media works, pyrography/marquetry art, crankies and stop motion animation.
