I will be a guest artist at the Ecology Learning Center in Unity, ME. The classroom environment allows for social distancing - I’m thrilled to be visiting in person. I’ll be working with ninth and tenth graders, sharing my process of creating Imagine a Wolf, introducing sequential art concepts of storyboarding and thumbnailing and looking at the ways these concepts can be applied to all types of project planning. Additionally I will use my book’s themes of preconceived notions, self expression and resilience to inspire discussion with this age group.
