I’m thrilled to be a 2023 recipient of a Richard Peck Scholarship to attend the Fay B. Kaigler Children’s Book Festival in Hattiesburg, MS. The Festival will be a three-day immersive experience in children’s books with incredible guest speakers, and I’m arriving a day early to hopefully spend some time in the Ezra Jack Keats archives at the de Grummond Children’s Literature Collection.
