I’m honored to be part of The Painterly Print, featuring monotypes by Debra After, myself, Richard Reitz Smith and Amy Tingle. I helped to organize the exhibition with Deb and Marcia Sewall, a Brunswick and Rockport-based artist and creator of many children’s books. I’ve included a couple of my prints here—these are created from direct observation, setting up an easel, plate and inks in the fields and lakeside. Both are made from shaped plates, and printed on white Rives BFK.
