Maine’s beloved annual, all-women sprint triathlon for the Maine Cancer Foundation, on the campus of SMCC in South Portland, ME
Third Tri’s a charm! This is going to be the best one yet, for a couple reasons. First, my mom and sister have formed a relay team, The Sandpipers, with our friend and ocean swimmer goddess (and picture book creator!) Betsy Thompson. And second, my dear artist friend Willy Reddick is doing her first Tri!! Willy and I have spent some winter days together a the Belfast pool, with Willy rocking the crawl.
