5-DAY WORKSHOP: Monotype Printmaking & Visual Narratives

On campus at Maine Media Workshops + College, Rockport, ME

I've been in love with monotype printmaking since college, especially for its painterly aspects. In this workshop, open to all levels of experience, I’ll introduce techniques for applying non-toxic inks and water-soluble oil paints to a variety of surfaces, including plexi and hand-cut shaped plates. You’ll create MANY prints over five days through technique prompts, and will develop at least one sequential narrative. My classes at MMW are full immersion - this is space and time to experiment, build a portfolio, begin a book project, and enjoy the exchange of ideas with other makers.

Registration EXTENDED to April 5 midnight EST, more info and registration here
